There are a few tracks from Big Boi’s long awaited album “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” floating around the internets, including the track “Fo Yo Sorrows” w/ Too Short & George Clinton. The most recent teaser I found is “Shine Blockas” w/ Gucci Mane over at Dax’s blog Snort This. I don’t think anyone has an idea when the album will really drop, but from what I’ve heard so far lets hope it’s soon!

Just got my hands on this mix that is full of songs that remind me of everything I loved about growing up & Halloween! It has just the right mix of darkness, metal, rap & it’s probably not for those who are easily offended. I think I’ll listen to this all day to get ready for a trek to Scarowinds tonight! BLAKROC is a new project initated by one of my favorite bands of the last couple of years, the Black Keys and it’s got me really excited to hear how it all works out. They have teamed up with 11 artists including Mos Def, Raekwon, Jim Jones, RZA, Q-Tip, etc. to produce an album that will release in late Novemeber.
