Letman Posters

A series of monthly poster and flyer design for Undercover by Letman – a master of hand lettering. “Letman’s letters are curious. His handmade style fits the boundries of typography like a universe on itself by lashing out to illustration, grafitti and graphic design. Letters are free entities to him. They are clear and cunning. Together they stand strong.”

Based on dada-drawing-method exquisite corpse (in collaboration with Yvo Sprey): A game of folded paper played by several people, who compose a sentence or drawing without anyone seeing the preceding collaboration or collaborations. The now classic example, which gave the game its name, was drawn from the first sentence obtained this way: The-exquisite-corpse-will-drink-new-wine.”
